What's the deal with BDing??
Why is it better to BD every OTHER day during O. DH keeps fighting me on this. He thinks (as most men would) the more you BD, the more your chances are of getting PG...
Not that I mind the frequency, just curious as to if there are benefits of taking a breather every other day

replenish the sperm count.
optimal sperm count is something like every 72 hrs, and in the morning. (so i have read) during your fertile time i dont think the count goes that low BDing 3 days in a row.
outside of your fertile time 2-4 days is good. DH says he shuts down after 4 days. and if you BD every day, after a while it is more juice and fewer swimmers.
this is what i understand anyway, i am no medical doctor ;)

I've heard that unless there are sperm issues, BDing every day is fine.

I think its a little better to do every other day.....just b/c it gives the sperm a chance to build up mobility and virility.......
although I guess that depends on the guy.
BD every day can also be just very exhausting

My doctor told me that the sperm don't have enough time to mature if you do it every day.

We do every other day but I know someone who did everyday and got pg. I have heard every other gives the swimmies time to build up and fresh also gives the women time to recover...I know DH can't handle every day, when we work we barely see each other for an hour.
