We're in Rockland County and we pay $6,300 with STAR. We have a 4br, 2ba 1500 sq ft house on a quarter acre.

we are in Bellmore. We have a high ranch that we expanded. when we moved in the taxes were 12,500, not they are almost 15,000... it's disgusting

We are moving to New Paltz. 2800 sq ft house with an acre of land. We wil be paying $12,000 in taxes.

We live in PJS in a colonial - our taxes are under $6K. We don't get STAR this year, but next year we will and they'll be near $4K.

It is getting insane here on Long Island. We live in West Islip, small 3 bedroom ranch- nothing fancy. We just got raised to $8600..

My brother lives near Denver and has a beautiful, big 4 bedroom and pays $1500....Yes... that is one thousand five hundred!!!!!!

They pay $650 a YEAR for a 3 bedroom 1 bath ranch!!!
When they first moved down there and the tax assessor told my FIL how much it was, he thought he meant per month!!
