I did. Only heat worked for me.
My wrists still hurt and DS is almost 4 months old I can take advil now though, so that helps a little.

Re: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I had pre pg too and with both pg's. With my second though it got much much worse.
I wore my braces to bed every night and did hand exercises. It helped a bit, but relief comes when you give birth, i am 6.5 weeks PP and feeling a bit better.

Re: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I have it and it seems to be getting worse and worse the closer I am to delivering. My doc. says it should get better after delivery. WHY DIDN"T ANYONE WARN ME ABOUT THIS. Anyway, I just wear hand braces to sleep and that helps the excrutiating pain but today, maybe because of the weather, the pain is really bad and I don't know what to do. I'm sorry you have it too

Re: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
How far along does this start? I ask because I have severe nerve issues with my left arm, this make sme nervous. And yesterday I had some weird pain in my right forearm.... But I am early (9w) and a bit of a hypochondriac.

I only started feeling it is maybe late 2nd trimester to early 3rd trimester. I didn't feel anything at the begining. Some people do though. All I know is that one day I couldn't feel my finger tips and there it went!

Re: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
MY hands are sooooo bad. The only relief I get is if i put them in Hot water. it just started a couple of weeks ago at like 29 wks. My doctor told me to try a parafain treatment which i am giong to do this weekend. I also wear the braces which helps me at night but not so much during the day. Not toooo mention at least for me it feels like it gets worrrrrrrrrse at night.

Posted by boobanick parafain treatment
I was going to suggest that- and Bed, Bath, and Beyond I believe sells an at home paraffin system. HA!- I just used spellcheck, and the suggestion for boobanick was bubonic.
