Is it easier for one to get PG if...
they were never on the pill?
Just curious how true that is.

I don't think so.
I know of 2 people that got pregnant while ON the pill (the pill is in your body for 24hrs which is why you have to take it every day, at the same time).
I know someone who was on the pill for 15 years and she has 2 children (the 2nd was quicker -to conceive- than the 1st).
I think it's luck of the draw, so to speak. There are so many factors that go into getting pregnant and they all have to line up with the moons and the suns

shouldn't make a difference.
My sister was on the pill for many years, came off the pill in November of last year, and got a BFP 3 1/2 weeks later. She's due next week!

my sister was on the pill for over ten years. went off and got pregnant within a month. . .
went off again a few years later and got pregnant again within a month!

I don't think it makes a difference. The pill doesnt cause anything. The hormones in the pill just mask what your cycles would have been like off of it.

I had a freind stop the pill and get preg less than a month later...She told me you are most fertile when coming off the pill...not sure if this is true but amazing she conceived right away

I got pregnant after being on the bill for about 12 years, last December. Unfortunately it was an ectopic. I guess it is not infallible!
We are now doing IUI!

I think the only negative to the pill is that it could mask irregular cycles or other cycle issues.... which could be a sign of something wrong...
other than that, I don't think so......

i was on the pill for over 6 years and have 2 kids both of which took less than 3 cycles to conceive.

I have been on the pill for so long that I am very nervous about going off the pill...I do not plan TTC until next spring but I am going off the pill in Jan..

Most doctors say that isn't true.
I was on the pill and was pregnant within a month after I stopped taking it. There are some schools of thought that think you are super fertile right after you come off the pill. The pill also leaves your body within 24 hours of taking it which is why it is safe to get pregnant right away.

I was on the pill for 6 years straight and never had a break. If you are going off the pill before you "officially" TTC, use back up protection b/c A LOT of people get pregnant right away. I went off last July and we were going to "offically" try in October. I found out I was pregnant with my DS one year ago today
