When should I Register? (POLL)
my due date is 1/7 and have no idea when my shower is. i'm guess probably in nov. i don't want to do it too early and look like i'm asking for gifts.

If you are finding out what you are having then I'd wait. If you are not then there is no reason not to go register now!

I agree with the pp. If you are going to find out, you can start to look at things that are gender neutral. Just keep in mind things you may pick now you may change your mind about a month from now.

I voted to wait thinking you didnt know the sex, but now that I see you know the sex, I want to change my vote to register now!

Start it now and get it out of the way. You can always change things online and you will most likely go back and forth to the store a few times to add/change things.

i think you can register now or sept . baby showers are usually 2-3 months before due date. this way it can give you time to add/remove items and look at things and really debate what you want.

I would say no. We did ours at 20 weeks. You can adjust it online too.

I am due 1/20 and we just registered yesterday. We registered for most of the big items and did neutral colors. Once we find out what we're having (hopefully in two or three weeks), then we'll finish registering for gender specific stuff.
