Anyone ever do a beach cleanup before?
DH wants to sign us up and I am REALLY psyched to do it, but what does it entail? I mean, I have an IDEA but can someone give me the low down? Thanks!

Yes.......... I have............basically, you just walk around with a plastic bag and pick up the trash thats on the beach.... I do it on my own alot..... it's great b/c all the kids on the beach start to join in and it teaches them about littering......

I did it when I lived in Florida. It was fun but I got extra credit for my Oceanography class in college. It wasn't bad at all.

I used to do this when I was in school. It's sad to see how piggy people are and how dirty our natural resources are becoming due to their littering. On one hand it makes you feel good for doing a good thing, but it also makes me angry that people can be so disgusting and can't just do their part in the first place.

I did it with my Brownie troop a couple of years ago...it was a great day at the beach and it helps clean up the enviroment.
