Does anyone feel like this too?
I feel like I'm way more excited than my husband. I'm only 17weeks...so some tell me he'll start getting more excited once you're showing more and can feel the baby too. I ask him if he's excited and he says of course, but he just doesn't express it like me

Re: Does anyone feel like this too?
I can definitely see where you are coming from.
Don't worry, I am sure he is extremely excited. Keep in mind that they don't get to experience the living baby inside them. It is such a different experience for them. I agree with people you talked to who said once he can feel the baby, you may see more excitement from him.
Also remember that the anticipated arrival of a baby puts different stresses on our husbands. All of a sudden, they feel as though they have to make sure they can provide for a "family", not just for a wife anymore. I know my DH started worrying about job security and my safety and health.
Again, I am sure he is very excited and will show you in his own way!

This is so true.
My DH does not outwardly show that he is as excited as I am. But in life he is not the type to show it like others. He is more quiet and does not talk alot about things like this, or at least as much as I do.
I can tell you this... when our son was born, he was so proud and cried (even though he will not admit to it to this day!) because he was so happy.
I am sure your DH will show it more, esp when he can feel the baby move, when you have your Level II... they just show things differently than we do and like the previous poster stated, he probably has alot of things on his mind.

My DH was excited but it all started seeming so much more real to him after the level II at 20 weeks & then after he felt the baby move the first time. We have the baby inside of us & are bonding 24/7, to them its not the same, I'm sure as time goes by he'll get more & more excited.

It's definitely different for women and men. My old coworker's dad said the sweetest thing to her when she was pregnant and feeling the same way about her husband:
He said that mothers have an instant bond with the baby when they are pregnant because their whole world changes. They have to watch what they eat - protect themselves and the baby - and they feel the baby. For him it was all unreal until his daughter arrived. So he explained..."your mom loved you from the start but I had to wait until you were here...to know that I really had a baby girl to love. Your mom felt as though she knew you from the start...but I only knew you from the day you were born. So I had a lot of catching up to do...but from the moment you were in my arms you have been my whole world."
