37 Weeks and Question for you about cramping

I don't think I've had any contractions at this point - BH or otherwise but, I guess I don't really know if I would know one if I did have it.

But, the last two days I have been feeling AF like cramps. On and off but nothing that lasts, goes away and comes back like I would expect a contraction to do. It really at times (especially) at night just feels like I am about to get AF any second.

Does this mean I am going soon? Or does it mean nothing? TIA.

I am not sure what it means - but I started getting that cramping about 2 weeks before I went into labor - nto every day but on and off. It would be worse at night too for some reason.

IVe been having the same thing..for about 2 weeks or so. AND a ton of Braxton Hicks....I didnt have this with any of my previous deliveries so i guess this proves that every labor is different...I do think its our bodies getting ready. Ive had a couple of nights where its kept me up.

Oh yea, I have been getting those too. Mine only come around a few times a day and really hurt. I had this when I was 41 weeks with my son, but never went into labor since I have a scheduled csection because of his size. So I keep hoping that maybe I will go into labor this week before my c-section next Tuesday.

I JUST STARted 38 weeks and i had that same cramping. i think it is the baby dropping and our bodies getting ready for labor.

i posted a simular post a few days ago and was told it is baby dropping and getting ready.

i assume the cramps are a good sign, hang in there your not alone

Thanks ladies! It is always comforting to know that I am not alone in my symptoms! The closer I get to my due date the more nervous I am getting that I can really go at any time. It is freaking me out a bit!

I'm freaking out too. I've been having those cramps. I feel like I'm back TTC, looking into every symptom I have.

I'm due the same day as you- and I've been having those AF like cramps for about a week now. I brought it up to my Dr last week- and she didnt seem to be too concerned about them. I think its just our bodies getting ready to go into labor. Hopefully it means things are moving along nicely and we'll be in labor very soon!
