Where do you get your curtains?

I am looking for valances and tiers for my kitchen.

I have looked in

JCP
Pottery barn
Sears
Linens n Things
Bed bath and beyond
Country Curtains
Target
Smith and Noble (I saw a fabric I liked but it was 130 for a VALANCE ALONE, when I need about 8 pieces, that is insane!)

Next stop...Marburn....

Any other suggestions? It is driving me nuts. I have never found any that worked perfectly yet.

I always start at Marburn because by far they are the cheapest around. You can't beat their prices for sheers.

If then, I don't find anything then all of the other places you mentioned.

Re: Where do you get your curtains?

I usually find what I need at marburn, I have gotten things at the PB outlet & I got sheers that fit my sliders perfectly at walmart recently. I also found my guest room curtains at target but it was a good thing I only had one window in that room because their inventory was crappy.
I have noticed that Lowes & home depot have stuff too & I like some of it but I never bought window treatments there.

Re: Where do you get your curtains?

There is a store on Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa - not sure what it's called - maybe The Curtain Store? Maybe you'll find something there. It's on the south side of the road, west of Sunrise Mall.

Re: Where do you get your curtains?

I've always had luck at Fortunoff's and JC Penny Home Store. Recently, thoiugh I found both valances and panels for my family room and powder room, that I loved at Linens and Things. Because I needed 5 valances and two panels as well as hardware, I bought coupons off of E-Bay. I have also bought coupons off of E-bay for Fortunoff's.

Re: Where do you get your curtains?

Thanks all! Yes, post pics if you can.

The ones you posted pics of in plaid I sort of like, but may be too country for me. Plus they dont have tiers which I would have to buy long panels and have them cut (which is not a big deal). Thats the only thing...I find many of the curtains are too country when I want more contempory with a flair of traditional.

Thanks so much!

Re: Where do you get your curtains?

They are somewhat floralish..do they look plaid? It is actually contemp with traditional, it is two separate valances Chat Icon Humm...my style is the same but gues the pics don't really come off the way they look. Good luck with the curtain though Chat Icon
