GoToBus.com/ Bus from Buffalo?
Has anyone ever used this?
or anyother reliable forms of transportation from Buffalo?
my sister just started college up in Buffalo... she doesnt have a car, and needs a way to get home withsome of her stuff (from summer session).
She'll probably take jetblue this time, since its her first time traveling alone, and will probably not be able to find the bus stop, but seriously should NOT be able to miss a whole airport (yeah... observational sharpness/ awareness of our surroundings was not really a dominant trait in our family   )
But, since you guys always have answers/ideas for everything, i figured i'd give it a shot and see if anyone ever took this bus OR, knew of any 'local secrets', etc....

technically, i was.. for 9 years
i have a sister and brother... 9 & 10 years younger than me... and had another sister that was 11 years younger than me.
and a bunch of ones that are older than me that i never met. long story for another time
but the sister thats 9 years younger than me... i dont think she's ever left brooklyn alone before, and now shes stranded in the Boonies  but i'll be in FL, so i can't go pick her up

I would be nervous travelign alone iuf she has not ventured past the 5 boroughs before

I used to take the train home from Buffalo, I probably took the bus once or twice. I would probably suggest that she flew, or checked in the student union for a car share. The train and bus are incredibly long journeys, long and tedious.

I went to school in Buffalo (UB). JetBlue is one option...if she takes a cab they will get her to the terminal (so no worries about her getting lost  ) Same with Amtrak. There are 2 locations and as long as she has the right one to tell the taxi driver she'll be okay.
I took the greyhound bus once...let's just say I would never do it again...ever.

Thank you for the ideas!!!
She's going to fly this time... Its her first semester, so hopefully over the course of it she'll makes friends with soeone with a car.. or get aquainted with the car pool board
