Need to find out of stock Macys bedding!
I'm SO frustrated...
Two weeks ago, FH and I bought some Style & Co. bedding from Macy's. It was on clearance and we bought the duvet cover, sheets, and pillowcases. Now, with it all set up, I realize that it would look so much better with the proper pillow shams (I thought I'd be happy with just the matching pillowcases but they get so wrinkly and I'm way too anal to be okay with that). So we went to Macy's today in the Broadway mall, and they had nothing. Since it was on clearance 2 weeks ago, nothing is left now. We tried the one in the Walt Whitman Mall, but struck out there too. So I came home, and it's not available online at Macys.com, no one is selling it on Amazon or eBay, and it's not at Overstock. Any ideas? If not, I'll be hitting every Macy's from Bay Shore to Staten Island this weekend... Help!

Here's the bedding by the way. Nothing fancy, but it'll do very nicely till we get married next year and register for Queen-size bedding:

Try the Macy's in Manhasset. It is a free standing macys and I find they have more things than Mall Macys....

go into the store with the scew and have them check their computers. They can order it from another location (even out of state)

Call different Macy's... that's how I got my discontinued toasting flutes... from a Macy's in GA. Good luck Dava!

Style and Co is macy's private label
meaning- it's scourced by a division of macy's and imported directly
they do not warehouse it- everything gets sent to the stores
"Fashion" bedding it generally on in the store for 1 season (Spring or Fall)
I would have them check every store- other wise there is really nothing you can do- I wish I still had a friend that worked there- but I don't my last friend finally left last month

That makes sense. Because there's nothing on any web site I looked at, and that's too weird. The stores had it in stock 3 weeks ago, sold it off, and are not getting in anything new. One store will have just the duvet cover, another has just the pillowcases. So frustrating!  I should have bought the shams when I bought the rest of the bedding, but I thought I'd save myself 60 bucks and be fine with regular ol' pillowcases. Live and learn.

the fall season starts in August for them
so that's why it was on sale in July
Macy's.com does not carry everything macy's does- it's a separate division and they have different buyers

I've found that Macy's in Bay Shore usually has whatever discontinued "missing" piece I'm looking for. The others are right - Macy's will put stuff in the computer and find a location that has whatever you're looking for. I've done in.
