Need Help - NYC
OK, I am planning a day for DH and I in the city. It's going to be my anniversary gift to him.
Although I am a LI gal I am a city moron and know nothing.
I want our day to start out at Madame Tussauds (on 42nd in between 6th and 7th ave)
I want to end our day at Stomp (on 2nd ave in between 7th and 8th).
Can someone please tell me recommendations for dinner somewhere in between those two locations?
For the record, would like to keep the dinner bill under $250 for two people (with a bottle of wine).
Also a heads up if reservations are required would be appreciated.
TIA!!

I just checked their website and it's like $25 per adult...not too bad.

Re: Need Help - NYC
What kind of food do you prefer? Would you prefer to eat near STOMP or eat on the West Side and take a taxi to STOMP?

No particular preference in location. Would prefer the restaurant to be closer to one of the two locations and we can take a cab either to STOMP or to dinner then walk to STOMP.
We are pretty easy eaters so type of food is open. We like Asian, Mexican, Spanish, Italian, Seafood, etc. Any of the above would be great.

Otto at 1 Fifth Ave (on the corner of 8th street.) it's Mario Battali and Joe Bastianich's pizzeria/enoteca . . . yum!
Great food and wine and not crazy overpriced for a star chef's place.
