Could this be AF??? Please help...
AF is due on Monday, 08/06 BUT I just came back from the ladies room, mind you I am 12DPO today and just had some spotting.
AF is NEVER EVER early but I do feel like she is arriving any moment...
Is it possible she is a week early?

I did some research and implantation can occur anywhere between 6DPO-12DPO...so maybe, but I doubt it...I think it's AF

Do you normally have such a long LP? If you are 12 dpo today and not due till 8/6 then your LP would be 18 days? Normal LP is 12-13 days I think.

I agree, that doesn't seem normal...are you sure your are 12DPO?

I am almost certain I O on the 19th but I am just going by my EWCM. I did use the OPK but used it a bit late so it wasn't accurate.
My calculations could most definitely be incorrect because of this which is why I am unsure.
Sorry to sound so ignorant but I have no clue...If it is AF I'm definitely going to pay close attention to my charting next month.
This is my first month TTC so this is all new to me including my usual LP phase.
Thanks for the info...I will wait and hopefully AF won't show up.
I did a search online and a few sites indicate implanation can occur a week to a few days prior to AF which is why people usually mistaken it for AF.

July 3rd, it lasted for 7 days and I know this is going to sound crazy but I count my days differently but it's always on target.
I count from CD1-CD7, I than count CD8 as day 1 and I continue counting from there to 28 which I did, therefore according to my normal tracking I am due on 08/06. Once a month I get EWCM one day each month, it happened on 07/19 so I consider that to be my O day but again I could be wrong.
As you can see my whole tracking is a mess and this is why I will never become pg

It may not be average (14 days) but it is not abnormal to have a long LP.
Actually, the longer the LP, the better chance of holding a viable pregnancy.

It may not be average (14 days) but it is not abnormal to have a long LP.
Actually, the longer the LP, the better chance of holding a viable pregnancy.

Thank you, I was getting nervous there for a sec. Could it be implanation? I just went back and the light pinkish bleeding stopped, very strange...and I had very little spotting.
I just never had a week early AF, it could be...I guess my body is changing who knows. We shall see, I will continue to keep my fingers crossed.
I really appreciate you girls being here for me as there is no one else to talk to about this so thank you so much, it's really appreciated!

So every month you have a 36 day cycle (the 28 days that you count plus 8 of AF)? If so, then we can try to figure it out.
Ok, putting aside how you calculate it, if we calculate it the "normal" way, CD 1 was 7/3. If you O'd on 7/19 (by the way if you're going just by ewcm, you may have actually O'd on 7/20) that's CD 17-18. But if your cycle is 36 days I think that's way too early to O...that would give you an 18-19 day LP.
If you want to get a ballpark based on your typical cycle length of 36 days, just count back 12-14 from the end and that's when you should O...so around day 22-24 (from your actual day 1 of AF). So if AF started on 7/3, you probably ovulated between 7/24-7/26. Which would put you around 6 dpo. And yes you could be getting implantation spotting at that point. If it is AF right now, then you've only had a 29 day cycle - normal for a lot of people but maybe not for you.

We seem to be on the same schedule - off by a day.
The 1st day of my last period was 7/4 and I Od on 7/18. I have a 31-34 day cycle so I am expecting AF aroung 8/4-6.
I would start tracking from the 1st day of your last period and keep a log from there. The simpler the tracking method, the less likely you will drive yourself crazy

Last question, sorry for all the questions but when would I get an accurate pg test if AF does not show up within the next day or so? Would it be safe to test tomorrow?

I think if you do the early detection tests (up to 5 days b4 your missed period)...but the most accurate will be if you wait until your missed period and test then.

I wouldn't test until probably Sunday at the earliest. Assuming you are about 7 dpo right now, then that would be 12 dpo and you might be able to get a positive then.

I just counted backwards from my due date, 08/06 meaning I began O on day 24 which makes today 10dpo and being we bd'ed on the 21st I have a good chance!
