Ovulation question?
If you BD 5-6 days before ovulation, do you think it is possible to get pregnant. I read that sperm can live up to 6 days inside a women. That seems like a long time. I always thought it was 3-4 days.
So, I guess a women can get pregnant at least 6 days in a month.
I guess these are stupid questions, but I am not actively TTC right now, and I haven't really looked up to much info on this subject.

Re: Ovulation question?
It is possible but not a strategy most of us would use while TTC.

Yeah, I figure most wouldn't do this while TTC. I was just asking.

Re: Ovulation question?
I heard the sperm can live 3-4 days also. Six days seems like too long to me. But it's really hard to pinpoint exactly when you ovulate especially if you are not TTC so you're not paying close attention.

Re: Ovulation question?
Not likely....... Sperm can live up to 36 hours. I am sure that in some rare cases it can live up to 6 days....but not probable. If you are genuinely TTC, this is probably not a good tactic.
