As if I didn't have enough to worry about
I woke up this morning with a horrible UTI. I can only get in to see the dr tomorrow morning. I was using Uristat for the pain but the nurse said not to use it because it will interfear with the test tomorrow.
Tomorrow feels like years away I am in so much pain.

That s*cks. I am in the same boat. I got one on Tuesday and started antibiotics yesterday, I'm finally feeling a little better. They are the absolute worst.

Go to Stop and Shop, Trader Joes or Whole Foods and get a jar of "Just Cranberry", it is a cranberry juice concentrate...no sugar or anything. It is very bitter. Pour some into a glass of water or a bottle of polans spring or something. Drink as muhc of that as you can. It will help ease the symptoms and will also help prevent them in the future. I used to get chrinci UTI's and every since I started drinking the just cranberry and water ( as well as implementing other practices i.e peeing immediately after sex) they have been less frequent. It's worth a shot!!!

Hang in there!! I just went through this 2 weeks ago and I was in such excruciating pain that I couldn't even sleep. It's horrible!! Can't you try calling your doctor to see if he can call in a prescription for you and then go tomorrow for the test?
Drink lots of water and cranberry juice!!

 Thanks Ladies. I saw the Dr this morning. He prescribed me antibiotics and something for the pain. I am feeling way better today, I drank a ton of cranberry juice and water yesterday so I guess that helped.

I absolutely HATE UTIs...and I seem to be prone to them. I usually get at least 2 a year.

I was getting UTI's like every other week at one point. I went to the drugstore and bought cranberry pills. They make you feel better for a little while but your going to need an antibiotic.
