Need Moving Boxes!
Before I go spending money on boxes, where can I find good ones? I find supermarket ones are usually those half boxes!
Also, if anyone is in an office and can bring home computer boxes or something like that - I'd come get it if you are in SW Nassau!
Thanks for any suggestions!!

Liqour store. Plus if they have the bottle dividers still in them it's great for packing glasses and mugs.

def. go to either Borders or Barnes & Noble. Call and ask what day they get their deliveries, than go pick them up for free.
They are great heavy duty boxes because books are so heavy!

honestly, we didn't have the time or patience to run around collecting boxes, so when we rented our storage unit, we just bought the home box package. It was like 70 bucks, but it came with the dish inserts, wine glass inserts, TONS AND TONS of boxes of all sizes, three rolls of packaging tape and a box cutter and markers. It was worth the money to have it all there in one box. You can buy them at any Public Storage place.

I use the file boxes from Staples for books. Partly because they are cheap to buy and second, because I don't fill them too much and make them too heavy.
Liquor store boxes are the best IMO. They can be a little on the small side, but are stronger than other boxes. If you do end up buying boxes, UHaul's are really sturdy.

Thanks ladies! Meant to update the other day - same day I posted this - DH came home from work and brought home about 20 great boxes from his hospital!! He can definitely get more if we need them!
We're going to be packing a lot of the clothing in those gray storage tubs (we have a lot) - esp since some of them are just going to stay packed that way - sweaters, winter clothes that will barely be used, if ever!

I found U-Haul had the best boxes and the best price...plus you can return what you don't use.
