Re: APR %

holy high interest. I just got one in the mail for 0%!

There are definitely lower interest cards out there. Google low interest credit cards and take advantage of a lower offer. You can transfer the balance for a fee.

I've done it and it really pays.

Re: APR %

WHOA! That is WAY to high- I would call and negotiate a new rate or switch cards. How is your credit?

I pay my credit card in full so I have no idea what my APR isChat Icon

Re: APR %

this is an old card. its long expired. i pay more than the min every month and it practically stays the same due to the apr.

i got a new card that has no apr for the first year, or til april or whatever,

so i am on hold, with them trying to transfer the balance.

Definitely try to transfer that balance.

I remember I had gotten a credit card offer once before with 0% for the first year, I never looked to see what it would go to after that and it jumped to something like 27%. Once I realized I transfered and canceled the card.

make sure you pay attention to what the rate is once you are up with the year.
Also, ask if the 0% is applicable to the balance transfer or jsut new purchases or both.
Sometimes the fine print can really bite you in the External Image

its either 0% or 3% (i think the 3% was a one time transfer fee)

either way i figure its gotta be cheaper than 28
