Anyone ever hear of hair loss after anesthesia?
I have been losing LOTS of hair for a few weeks now. I was told that it's common a couple of months after anesthesia to have hair loss.
Has anyone else experienced this? My hair is obviously soo much thinner and it's freaking me out

I have never heard of that!
I have had it a few times and never saw that. And I have REALLY thin hair too, so I cant afford to lose any.
Did drs actually tell you this? I never heard this.

never heard of that
but maybe it has more to do with changes in your body chemistry? i would mention it to your dr just to see what he/she says

yes,I've heard of that. It didn't happen to me although I've had several surgeries.
It definitely has something to do with the body being stressed..chemical reaction.
The good news I hear is that it will get better.

Yes, I have heard of that, I am pretty sure it is temporary, it'll come back. Try to stay calm. I know the feelin g, i have lost so much hair due to meds and it is scary
