Franklin Square?
What stop on the LIRR is Franklin Square? This town looks really cute but I need to find out how long the commute would be to NYC. TIA!

The one in stewart manor or nassau road is not that far. Also, valley stream is not that far or any of the west hempstead line branches

Re: Franklin Square?
I lived in Franklin Square and used to take the Stewart Manor or New Hyde Park trains. (NHP is only a few blocks North of Stewart Manor).
But the previous poster is right, there are several options. When I worked in the city and was getting out late, I would take trains into Merillon Ave., Lynbrook, etc. if those were running sooner so I didn't have to wait.
The one problem is that the parking at Stewart Manor is limited for those who don't live in Garden City and don't have a permit.
ETA: From Stewart Manor its 40 minutes into Penn Station.

Re: Franklin Square?
The Malverne station is also very close to FS. My DH uses the Valley Stream station which has a better schedule...it's about 10 minutes from home- he drives there and parks.
