Need opinions...

I posted a while back about a twin size race car bed that I was looking for. Well, I found one but it's about 2 hours from my house. The price I'd be paying through Walmart is $267.00, then I have to buy a whole Twin bed set. The one I found is 1.5 years old, comes with the boxspring and an extra set of wheels in Excellent condition for $75.00. Do you think it's worth the drive and gas to go get it or should I just wait until Walmart gets it in and buy it new and buy a bed set new also? A twin mattress set is going to be at least $300, the race car would be $267.00 so $567.00. If I got the other one it would be only $75.00 + gas, which I'm not sure about, it's a pickup truck, and we'd only have to purchase a mattress. From what I'm finding a boxspring is $100.00. I don't know what to do? What's your opinion?

My mom also has a $100 gift card to Walmart she said she'd use towards the bed. So I'd be saving about $150 getting the used one. I don't know when the one at Walmart will be in. It's been 2 weeks already and they're still not sure.

hmm i really dont think you use a boxspring with the racecar bed if im not mistaken the matress just slides on top of the actual bed since its all plastic! that would knock out a bit of expense for you. Im a bargain person though i would probablly go wuith the 75.00 .........good luck!!!
