Explosion in Mid Town
Hope everyone is okay..pretty scary pics.
ETA.. in case anyone is not near a TV its an underground pipe explosion not a terror attack.

The pictures look too much like the aftermath of 9/11...Even though it was not a terrorist attack they just reminded me so much of that day

i agree,,,seeing the people with the soot on them reminded me of my clothes that day

Scary ... ooh so scary ... too much of a reminder of 9/11. Yesterday, my husband was working at the Hyatt ... right above Grand Central. So glad it wasn't today.

DH and I went rock climbing and came home to 6 messages on our phone and 5 more on his cell from his family who live all over the U.S. The messages got more and more frantic as they went on. Do they really think I wouldn't call them if DH was injured in a blast??????
