You can start feeling them a minute after you ovulate - doesn't mean it's not your mind playing tricks on you...
Honestly, I have thought I was pg for the last 4 months convincing myself that I was experiencing all kinds of symptoms.
Most girls here will probably agree that your mind plays tricks on you ...

Yes your mind defnitely plays tricks. You will notice every little cramp, twinge, breast soreness, etc. when TTC.

Everyone I know that is/was pregnant didn't start experiencing symptoms until 5-6 weeks of their pregnancies...

I actually 'knew' about a week before I tested (so about 1 week past O) b/c my IBS flared up bigtime for the first time in a while, my stomach was soooooooo sore and 2 different times smells that were not strong to everyone around me made my stomach turn.
My mom said she knew with all of us long before a test would tell b/c she opened her eyes in the morning and was sick each time. (Luckily that part wasn't hereditary  )
