I am new at this myself so I could be wrong but I think around the time AF is due being pg symptoms are identical to AF symptoms.

Medically speaking, the egg and the sperm meet in the fallopian tube and it takes 2 days or so to reach the uterus. Then about 3-4 to implant when hcg starts to get produced. However, if you are pregnant your body continues to produce progesterone which can give you some pregnancy symptoms. In a n on-PG cycle yoru progesterone would drop.

when i got pg with i had acne BAD and horrible nausea right away. i was on vacation for 8 days and i remember feeling horrible the whole time. i came home and took a test before my period was due and it was negative. a week later, i tested again and it was positive! so for me i guess my body reacted to the hormonal changes right after conception.
