misplaced uterus?
Has anyone heard of a misplaced uterus? One of my good friends is TTC and she had a test done yesterday at the RE which shows that her uterus is not where it "typically" would be. Instead of being directly centered between her pelvic bones, her uterus is off to the right, closer to her leg. Her left ovary is far to the left and her left Fallopian tube was shown to go from the far left side of her lower abdomen all the way to the right side where her uterus is. First, has anyone heard of this, and second, could you advise what the next step is for TTC? I'm trying to encourage her to stay positive, but she said the Dr. said, "Hmmm." The word "Hmmm" coming from a doctor isn't really re-assuring.... Does anyone have info on this?

Re: misplaced uterus?
My midwife said I have a "tilted" uterus. She could tell just by a regular exam - didn't need any specialists to look at me.
She said everything is order my uterus is slightly tilted and the easiest way for me to get pg would be doggie style
That's the only info I have...sorry.

Re: misplaced uterus?
Yes, I hve been told before that I have a tilted uterus, too, and we were told to BD doggy-style to get the job done... I didn't realize a uterus could be misplaced.....
