Uuuughhh - I think I have an UTI

from waiting too long to pee after BD. I woke up in excrutiating pain at 3AM and peed 7 times and it hurt each time. I called my doctor but her office doesn't open till 1 and I'm dying here.

This stinks. I used to get UTI's all the time and made a point to always go right after s*e*x but now that we've been ttc, I've been waiting a little and this past week were my O days. What happens if I do have a UTI, do I still have to take antibiotics?

Tell your doctor you are ttc and he can prescribe somethng that is baby friendly. Drink lots of water!
For prevention, try drinking cranberry juice with breakfast. I used to get cronic uti's then I started drinking one 8oz glass every morning and I have not had one in 5 years. It can't be cranberry jiuce cocktail it has to be 100% juice. Cran-grape works as well.

I thought you're not supposed to go to the bathroom after BDing? Because won't the fluids come out
