any former depo shot girls?

Im stopping my depo provera shot this month (well not getting it when im 'due')
and we are going to ttc....
i had a wonderful experience on the shot but its baby time!
is there any one here who was on depo.. how long did it take you to get your period back
i was on for 3 years the first time and a year and half this time... first time it took me a year or so to get back to normal.. im hoping its not that bad this time

I assume we will actively try 3 months out b/c thats what seems to be the norm ...i have been taking folic acid and b12 but i can't take a prenatal vitamin b/c im allergic to one of the ingrediants...

any advice?

Everyone reacts differently on the depo shot. There are other factors too. I had underlying infertility (so I guess I wasted my money on getting the shot ). It's hard to go by what others did on that shot. I wish you the best of luck!!!
