I was referring to directions in regards to putting something together. ha ha!

I hear ya. If the package says "easy open and resealable!" you can bet that my DH will ignore the directions and rip into the package like an animal and destroy any chance of ever "resealing!" it again.

I start to read directions sometimes, but then realize that a lot of times, the directions are actual wrong! (No, that's not my male ego saying it, I can see that it physically won't work that way, and it just got translated wrong.) I often do better figuring it out myself. I've had to undo too many items that I followed the directions for....

I never read the directions and my DH and dad always do! They read the directions, make sure they have every part, get their tools, THEN start. I rip into the box look at one thing at a time and say "this looks like it could go here" all while screaming "someone get me the screw driver with the star on the tip OR a hammer."

I guess I'm the 'man' in my relationship. I NEVER read directions when putting something together and my DH usually does.

You see I have the opposite problem, my DH reads them so much and so far into them. He will actually take out each screw to make sure all are there. I look at the pic and then put it together, the directions screw me up.
