There were baby birds in my attick

There was a birds nest in my attic and DH went up to get them out of there. I wanted him to leave them b/c I was afraid they would die. Well, one of them was apparently already dead. The other little baby bird is in a box right now on my porch with its bird's nest and I feel so bad for it. It can't fly yet. I dont know what to do with it. I looked up a wildlife number for nassau county and am going to call them tomorrow but I hope the little guy makes it. I feel horrible the other little bird died. I dont know if its mother bird will be able to find it. DH doesnt know why I am being so sensitive about this, but I truely feel bad

I had the same thing last year, the birds made a nest in my awning, and some of them were found on the floor dead, but I mad my DH wait until we didn't hear the babies chirping, we checked when they were all gone we closed up the hole that they made...

I yelled at DH to wait also but he said he didnt want the birds shitting all over the attic. I found a wildlife rescue that I have to call in the morning and they sent a rehabilitator to your house to pick up the birds. I just feel bad. It must still be my post pregnancy hormones

we just had this situation too, they really don't shite all over the attic sincethey spend almost the entire time in the nest, once the chirpping was gone we closedthe hole.
