Weight gain
At what point in pregnancy do you start gaining weight? A friend of mine from work told me that her jeans were tight on her before she evern knew she was pregnant. She found out she was pregnant at 3 weeks.

In the first trimester, you are so bloated and gassy, nothing fits right. 1st pg i was in maternity pants at 8 weeks, 2nd pg 10 weeks.
For my pregnancies, I have tendency to gain in the beginning-the 1st and beginning of the second the most, then it drops off.

I am 12.5 weeks and I have already gained about 8-10 lbs. I was feeling so sick the whole first trimester that all I could do to make myself feel better was to eat - a lot! I also stopped exercising because I had some spotting issues at the beginning. Now that I am finally starting to feel better I am eating much healthier and exercising. I hope to lose about 5 lbs.
The "normal" weight gain per all the websites i have read on many websites said 3-5 lbs for the first trimester....

I am only 4 weeks and my pants are tight on me because I am so ridiculously bloated. It also gets worse as the day goes on. I have pictures in my album and each picture from yesterday shows me gradually getting more and more bloated

I'm six weeks and same here re: the bloating. I've actually lost a couple of pounds but I look gross  I know it's bloating and gas but it still stinks.

My pants were snug immediately when I was pregnant due to the bloating. I want maternity clothes ASAP (but was too superstitious to wear them). And my boobs grew immediately! By 6wks I went from a C cup to a D cup.

I didn't realize bloating and gas came from the first two months of pregnancy. And it gets so bad that your pants don't fit??

my pants were tight after about 10 weeks and I didn't gain a lb until about 13/14 weeks
