I am feeling down

I am starting to feel like it is never going to happen. I have been pretty strong for a while now, going on 9 months, but now I am feeling hopeless, and I hate it. I am going for testing after I get AF where they inject dye into my uterus to make sure there's no blockages, blood tests and a vaginal sono. I know I'm doing all I can but all of a sudden I feel like it's never going to happen. How do I snap out of it?Chat Icon OK, pity party over, thanks for listening.

I'm sorry you are feeling so hopeless right now. I can relate to how you are feeling. I am only on month 2 of tcc, but with AF on her way to town again, I'm having that "will it ever happen for me" feeling. This is an exciting, but very frustrating experience. We just have to believe it will happen. You are doing the right thing getting the testing done! Good luck. Chat Icon

Re: I am feeling down

It will happen for you!! I had just made an appt. with my dr. because I wasn't getting PG, it would have been a year in July, and I just found out that I am PG!! So I didn't even make it to the appt. I think it happened because this was the first month I wasn't "stressed" about trying and making sure we were doing it at the right time! Here is some babydust for you!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I wish I didn't know what you are going through, but I understand all too well. I have been avoiding TTC board and IF board like the plauge lately because I'm so down and in such a rut I can't seem to pull myself out of it.

Its wonderful that you are going for these tests! Hopefully knowing you have a plan in place will de-stress you a little bit. One of my friends is due this August. She got pregnant the same cycle she had the dye test for her tubes. She feels that it "cleared the cobwebs!" Good Luck!!

I'm so sorry! I feel like you took the words right out of my mouth! I've been feeling so down lately- especially since 2 ppl that got married after us are now both pregnant. I'm supposed to go to a shower next weekened and I'm not allowing myself to go--- too painful. I think I might scream at one of DHs relatives and it's not their fault- but I just can't right now.
I say have your pity party for as long as you need to. I'll have it with you! Then dust yourself off and tell yourself that life goes on and that it will happen!

Re: I am feeling down

I feel that way too sometimes- Sometimes to me getting PG seems so unattainable b/c I want it so bad but then I try to remember that everything happens for a reason and the time will come- your time will come too- hopefully sooner than laterChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thank you so much everyone, it helps knowing others understand how you feel (I wish nobody did though) Anyway, AF came today-with a vengence. So I will look at it as a positive that now I can begin my testing to see what is going on. Thank you again, your words are truly appreciated, best of luck to all of usChat Icon Chat Icon

Re: I am feeling down

I am so sorry you are feeling so down. I know the feeling. I had a mc and it took me 7 months to get PG after. Those were the hardest 7 months...I could not stop thinking about it...

Have you tried the Deanna Plan? That is what I did differently the month I got my BFP...

Thank you so much! No we haven't tried that, sounds interesting though, maybe we'll give it a try, no harm in it, seems pretty easy. I think I'm going to be tired though LOL!
