so - this woman at work
i was walking to refill my water bottle and she stands up from her desk and says "OMG you're huge - do you have a baby elephant in there?" then asks when i'm due and i tell her Oct. 16 - she says 3 more whole months!!! like i didn't know that - ugh
i'm wearing a new maternity dress today and am CLEARLY pg in it. i just smiled PROUDLY said yep and walked away and didnt say anything harsher. now i'm mad i didn't say anything. How DARE she call my baby an elephant??? miserable jealous beyotch!!!

Really now... why do people suck so much???? Good for you for not losing it, but my girlfriend told me I have a 9 month pass to speak my mind (applied to preggos everywhere). I don't think I'd be able to keep my mouth shut.

thanks. i needed that laugh! I am really pretty ****** at her. i NEVER expect anyone to say such an obnoxious comment so i never have a ready comeback. my baby is no elephant!!!

I find that sooooo many people can be soooo nice when you're pregnant --- but there there are always those few that are just obnoxious and know how to get under people's skin. They are the worst.

That's just plain awful!!! Is this the same chick that keeps commenting on your weight gain too?
No comeback needed I tell you.
Just politely say to her in the straightest unemotional face you can in a stern voice "WHY in the world would you say something so rude like that?" AND WALK AWAY as her face turns red!
I swear people think they're funny when they are being incredibly rude...
