I didn't even think about this and we just bought a new expensive mattress not too long ago. I guess I will be sleeping on towels from here on out.
I wasn't even really worried about it because they say that such a low % of women's waters break on their own....but it's much better to be safe then sorry!

For my 1st pg, DH wanted me to sleep in a rubber raft
 I can totally picture my DH saying this to me. Or wrapping the bed in plastic. That's the Italian way to save any piece of furniture.

im getting a mattress pad and lyning with garbage bags when i get to 37 weeks. Just to be on the safe side.

I wore a extra hold maxi as I approached delivery time. I didn't know what to expect. Im glad too! I broke water while sleeping around 6 am... It felt like a rubber band snapping... I stood up and gush!
