So Rich and I have decided that
we really don't NEED or WANT anything...
his birthday is Wednesday, and mine is in Feb. What we really enjoy is just spending time together and having a good time, so I think we're going to throw birthday and Christmas gift money together and take a short vacation somewhere. (No more than 3 days - our schedules are pretty tough to work around. He's a new teacher!)
Any suggestions?
This has to be VERY affordable....as in WELL UNDER $1K.
I've considered Disney World, because we went 2 years ago and still have a day left on our park hopper passes...and airfare isn't too expensive to FL, is it?
Any other (cheap) suggestions? We're not really B&B people, nor are we outdoorsy/ski people. We're looking to go in either Nov or Jan.
Whaddya think?

eta: if we end up going in Jan., the ILs will probably pay our airfare as an X-Mas gift.

DH & DS just went to FL on SW's $49/each way deal. Unless you're willing to stay local.
You could stay in Manhattan & be tourists for 3 days. I work there every day but every so often like to go in for a few days & see a play, hit the village, etc.

Nic did you search on JetBlue? I had gotten an email notify thingy that they were running really cheap airfaires from NY .. not sure of restrictions though

and also (im not sur eif you necessarily want to do this, but).. Clear your cookies (some ties basically show you the same rates or higher ones b/c its saved in your cookies

one of our friends is a computer person and said that. I never clear my cookies though b/c i hate having to retype my password back into everything, and all that stuff
ETS- i think thats why, alot of times, the avatar pics dont show up right away too... b/c its still got the information in the old cookie thing (sorry- not the best as using technical terms )

This site sometimes has really good deals. I check it a lot...
VACMART
Disney really can get expensive....But you can probably do it.
The bahamas may be an option too, they have some good deals.
I always check the Radisson website.
When we were originally going to Aruba on our Honeymoon, they had a 50% off all rooms deals, online on their site only. I had booked the rooms for MUCH MUCH cheaper then any of the vacation sites were offering.
