that if you think about getting pregnant and having a baby that it will delay it happening-that you have to stop thinking about it do you all think that is true- according to DEanna's plan it isnt.

Re: Everybody says...
honestly-- I think that's a load of bullshite... People say that all the time in many instances-- meeting a new guy, getting the right job. People say it about anything that someone can REALLY want.
While I do not think that thinking constantly about it will prevent it from happening, I do think for your mental health, it is best to not have it consume your thoughts. You need to keep things in perspective and still be a part of/think about things beyond TTC.

Re: Everybody says...
Unless you are thinking about it to the point of having an extremely high level of stress I don't think it matters one bit -- its just no fun to keep thinking about it when there is so much waiting to do.

Re: Everybody says...
If it's going to happen it will happen regardless if you are thinking about it or not....just try not to think about it soo much that it consumes you or makes you totally stressed....that's not good for your body or mind!!

Re: Everybody says...
I think it is BS too. After 9 months of people telling me to relax and that it will just happen and that I should stop thinking about it, I can honestly and wholeheartedly tell them to EFF off. I simply cannot get pregnant without having had and continuing to need medical interventions. People think they know everything. They don't.

Re: Everybody says...
I believe that stress can lead to delayed ovulation, which, if you're not charting or using OPKs can be a problem for conception. I do not believe that having a stressful job or moving, or something like that, is the reason why I'm not pregnant.

Re: Everybody says...
If I have learned one thing in the entire process, it is that everything varies from person to person and there are NO universal answers.
For example, I have been thinking about TTC 24/7 for almost one year and I have a text book cycle - 28 days with ovulation smack in the middle. Even after a surgery, I am still on the money. I thought for sure it would have either delayed or brought AF upon me sooner. Go figure.
