Did anyone have a Destination Wedding?
My friend just got engaged and she plans on having a destination wedding somewhere in the Caribbean or maybe Mexico. I wanted to help her get some ideas of nice places.

We just got back from Costa Rica (so friggen beautiful!) and destination weddings there are becoming more popular. There are some really beautiful resorts there.

My girlfriend was married at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It was very nice, but I think I'd look at other hotels there too.

I go married in Maui and had a wedding planner and she was execellent. I did not have to do anything, just showed up and got married.

definitely tell her to check the destination weddings board at the knot, the ladies are super helpful.
I was going to have a renewal but it just never happened.
The Mayan Riviera, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Bahamas, Jamaica and Italy are popular locations.
