Our floors were here already, they are over 80 years old (the house was built in 23). They were protected by carpet and lucky for us, beautiful parquet floors were pretty much preserved for us to finish.

The color...YES< all my paint is Benjamin Moore. The color is Lenox Tan in the larger first room. The smaller side room is Shaker Beige (almost same, just a bit lighter) and its on the same color strip as Lenox Tan.

When friends of ours first saw our house, they said "It looks so Pottery Barn (I take that as a compliment!). At that time, Pottery Barn did not have color swatches, we just liked the color from the BM swatches and chose it to compliment our fabric. But now they do and Shaker Beige happens to be on there.

sorry to hijack but wanted to tell you that i used lenox tan and shaker beige as well. LOVE it. shaker beige is in the foyer and LR, lenox tan is in the DR w/ cottage red and also in 1 of the bdms.

what color is your DR? looks just like one of my bdrm colors. i think it is called phillsburg blue.

Arent hte colors awesome? Not phillipsburg blue (which is nice and I would have picked it had PB had their swatches come out at the time), so its close but not exactly. DR Is called Polaris Blue.
