Second surge.......
I got my second surge on Saturday afternoon (CD24), I tested again yesterday but later than usual and it was lighter than the control line...I BD on Saturday evening and yesterday evening.
BTW...some TMI...I had EWCM yesterday.
A little history:
CD23- tested at 5:30pm -negative- did not BD
CD24 - tested at 400pm positive - BD that night
CD25- tested at 7:15pm - negative BD that night
Do you think I'm covered? When should I start counting DPO?

I think you are covered. And I would count today as 1 DPO.

I always did it 2 days befor ei though i would surge...and 3 days after the lines on the OPK

Can that happen get a surge on Saturday ..no surge on Sunday and ovulate on Monday???

Yeah, a surge only indicates that your LH is very high; it doesn't mean that you'll definitely ovulate within that 12-36 hour timeframe they give 'on the box.' Your body can gear up for O but other factors (stress, travel, illness or even infertility issues like PCOS, etc) can delay O.

Thanks...I'm waiting for DH to give a try tonight as well. I tried to temp but I couldn't do it...I gave up

I learned about more than 1 surge last cycle...when I got the surge on CD 11 but AF showed up on CD 41...therefore there had to be another surge since my LP was way tooo long based on the info i mentioned. SO this cycle I started again right after AF testing with OPKs got a surge on CD 13 but instead of stopping I continued and it was negative all the way to recently...got another surge on CD 24 which would make sense making my LP 16 days.
