To Everyone on LIF

I wanted to say, to anyone who I may have offended last night, I am truly sorry.

I reached the edge and acted out in anger and rage that was building up inside of me for some time. I am only human.

I am not a malicious person, Im not mean and as a matter of fact I cant even hold a grude against anyone. I dont like to fight and I dont like what last night came down to.

Contrary to anyone's beliefs, I do not get pleasure out of being mean.

That being said, I can't change what happened and I dont think that its necessary for me to be on the stand and questioned and doubted still.

If I offended anyone, I am sorry, I mean it. To those of you who 'know' me better, you know that last night was totally out of character for me. Maybe it was a combination of being sick, hormones being out of wack and just being so mad. I dont know. But, that it not how I normally am. ANd no, Im not proud of acting the way I did but I cannot undo it.

Since I cant reach out to each and every one of you who I might have upset, Im just posting here.

I hope that this will put this to rest because I dont have the energy to defend myself constantly and I dont think I should have to.

I'm human, I made mistakes, I shouldnt have them held against me.

I hope that this is taken as I mean it, honestly.

Kathy, I wasn't around and don't know what went on, but it takes a good person to humble herself with such an eloquent apology.

I said it on my other thread, but I just wanted to make sure you saw it... THANK YOU for everything- you helped me through something I knew nothing about- something that scared me, upset me, and comPLETEly freaked me out. Thank you again.

Kathy,

I only know you through this site, we've never met in person but all I can say about you are good things. You helped me during my wedding planning and most recently you gave me your real estate lawyer's info. You have been nothing but helpful and pleasant to me.

I don't know what happened. You seem to be one of the least likely people on this site to ever cause drama, purposefully or unpurposefully. We are all entitled to our bad days. Given that you are now pregnant and have a very long commute each day in this weather any reasonable person would understandd if you are not feeling 100% all of the time.

While you are an active member it is clear that you do not "live" through this site. It amazes me how many countless hours some people are on this site morning, noon and night. I come on for temporary breaks from my routine, this site is not my life, nor can it be with a job that requires 60 hour work weeks. My priorities are my husband, family, work and doing other things off the computer. I think some people are truly addicted to the "popularity" they derive from posting. I just don't get it. It's like a computerized version of the high school cafeteria or elementary school recess I teach high school and on most days I don't see half the drama that is started on these boards. To remember who said what to whom in a post that took place days or weeks ago tells a lot about a poster on this site. Do they really have that boring and unfufilling of a life that they can remember such trivial details about people whom they have never met? And who needs or wants more drama in their life by creating it? If someone needs to do that because life hasn't thrown them enough ups and downs, well, I'd like to meet them, and think most people that I know, would like to trade places with them.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a message board for entertainment purposes. Many of us have to stop taking it so seriously and stop living vicariously through the internet world and start paying more time and attention to our lives (and building relationships) off the computer. Oh yeah, and can we give people the benefit of the doubt when they post? Everything said or done on here is not meant to offend little old you. We all need to get over ourselves from time to time.

Hi Kathy,

I am clueless of what happened and I wouldn't worry too much!! That is the last thing you need to be worrying about!

But, I have to laugh when people get so offended about the comments people make on these boards. If I feel insulted by what someone else wrote, Who Cares! I don't know them! Bottom line. Unless of Course, I met you at one of our GTG's and became close friends and feel like I might of offended you, then I would make the effort to apologize.

And if it is your opinion, no one has any right to change it nor should you apologize about your opinions.

I actually enjoy sharing and venting about my life with you Girls! I think that is the reason why most of us are on this website! I feel like this is the only place we can share our TTC and Pregnancy journeys. Alot of times, it is difficult to share this with our real life friends and families. Sometimes we want to be private about it. When I see Drama on the Boards, I roll my eyes.

Tah-wee-zah, I'm definetly an addict on this site. I am not ashamed! I am only an addict b/c I am always online searching for jobs and I tend to always link back to LIF.

But, I do know what you are trying to say and I totally agree!!! Because I cannot help but Laugh! Seriously!

Kathy, you have ALWAYS been there for me and your'e always really sweet to me, and I "know" it wasnt like you and totally understand that you are pregnant- need I say more I cant imagine what your hormones are doing to you!!!!! We all go off and make mistakes, I think just about EVERYONE on here can admit to that. But dont stress over it and it was really big of you to aplogize, Get your rest, girl!
