I have never sold a home but do real estate people really come over and help you pack up and organize your home?

I highly doubt that. I watch that show too, and I dont know if the real estate market is the same all over the world. I just dont think it would happen here.

Not from my experience! They look around and make suggestions about things to remove or put away, but it's much simpler than what you see on that show, and they certainly don't help you do it.

Mine didn't. One agent we interviewed recommended getting rid of some clutter we had accumulated in our dining room, but the agent we hired said our house looked great and wanted to list it right away. I actually made her hold off on listing it because we wanted to fix a few things and organize our closets a bit. My house really was practically ready to show, but personally when I know I'm going to have people poking around in all my closets and opening doors everywhere I want it to look perfect. There are definitely lots of houses I've seen listed where I wonder why the agent didn't make them clean up! I mean, at least for the mls pictures!
