Central park Boathouse

Anyone eat there recently? Was it good? Is it suitable to take our 15mth old?

I have friends from OOT visiting this weekend and thought this would be a nice place to meet for brunch on sunday.

Any feedback?

Thanks a lot.Chat Icon

Re: Central park Boathouse

Took my parents there about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday - they do brunch on Sat & Sun (Sunday was Mothers day they were fully booked) They do cater for kids, they had plenty of highchairs and they have a kids menu. I thought the food was good, quite tasty and nicely presented, it wasn't the best meal I've ever had, but nice. It is ambient and is very pleasant overlooking the lake - we had a waterside table. The Wait Staff were clean and attentive. I would suggest that you book, we did and everyone else seemed to wait a while.

It was an all round good experience and I would go again, as I said the food was good but not fabulous

Have fun!

I agree completely. I've been there a few times & one time we bailed because the wait was too long.
