Those who chart basal temps
I just got a basal thermometer today. I' m going to give it a try this month. Do I just tale it each morning, chart it and when I see a spike it means I am Oing? I'm going ot look it up but just looking for some feedback. TIA!

I agree with everyone else. try fertilityfriend.com it really is a great site. Also look into getting the book Taking Charge of Your Fertiliy. It will answer a lot of questions. Make sure you take your temp at the same time each morning after at least 3 hours of sleep and before you do anything else. Don't drink or get up until you temp.
Also remember that charting tells you when you ovulated. After a few months you will get a pattern and be able to predict when you should ovulate. Good luck

Another vouching for fertilityfriend. I only use TCOYF to further explain what I do noth ave the patience to look for on FF.

Hi, I'm new here and I just started temping as well.
I agree with everyone else - fertilityfriend.com is great. I signed up for their tutorials and each day they email a lesson about charting and everything involved.

Like everyone else...I use fertilityfriend.com also! Awesome site! Once your temp spikes...you have already ovulated. You most likely hit ovulation the day before the spike. Once your temp goes up, you missed it. :( Fertility friend suggests Baby Dancing the day after anyways...so extra bd-ing can't hurt! :) Good luck!! Baby dust for all of us!!

i used fertility friend during the months i temped and it was a great resource. taking charge of your fertility is also a great book to have handy!
