Don't mind the long rant

So DH and I bought our house a couple of months ago. Our first big purchase was a door. We go to Home Depot to look and DH goes back ALONE to order based on what WE decided. Well, the HD salesman did a great job convincing DH to get the top of the line Mahogany door (DH and I both agreed WHITE) the HD guy said he didn't like white doors and mahogany looks better. Well, we both go back in to cancelled that door and wait over 2 hours for them to cancel and write up a new order. The door was supposed to be installed 3 weeks ago too.

Fast Forward 2 months later to today:
I was second on the list today and the guy was supposed to be here by 12pm I waited all day and have to chase them down for him to call me at 5pm to cancel and reschedule. I am MAD

Do you think I have a right to be??? I waited all day in the house such a beautiful day and I want to scream that it was cancelled. SORRY thanks for listening

I would be pizzed!!

We are waiting right now for HD to call us since we just ordered a storm door and front door from them, and then we have to make the appt to have it installed. If I waited around all day and then they cancelled, I would be fuming!

I would call and e-mail their corporate offices, and request a discount or maybe a refund of the delivery fee. I've had many company's offer to do this when they failed to show up.
