Wish me luck...
So my dr had 2 people to deliver today so my appt got cancelled. I tried to call Jennifer Hanauer office(since I know he was one of her backups) and see if they could squeeze me in for a quick sonogram just to see if the baby did grow(was 2 weeks behind, didn’t sound good) last week and if it is gone it would be almost 4 week by now and I would need to have a D&C tomorrow. Well they took my number and never called back, so I am seeing my dr in the morning. If I need the operation he will send me straight to the hospital to get ready for it, so im not suppose to eat drink after midnight, does that include water? Im really hoping the baby is just behind in 2 weeks although that’s a lot of time to be off by…. Im also a little surprised they would cut off my drinks b/c if I am still pregnant wouldn’t that hurt the baby? I cant stand the waiting, and I have my flight to FL on Sat the next day which I cant even think about until I find out whats going on with me.

so im not suppose to eat drink after midnight, does that include water?
I recently had 4 GYN procdeures under a general anestheic. I was not to eat or drink ANYTHING after 11pm the night before. I did have a D and C but I was not PG. I wish I had more info to help you.

When I had my d&c I was unable to eat or drink after 11 and the surgery was scheduled for 2 the next day!!
It has to do with the anesthesia.
Good luck....you are in my prayers....please keep us updated.

I had to have a D & C on Tuesday and u cant have anything to eat or drink after midnight. I am hoping that your baby is ok, whatever you eat prior to your cut of time will be enough to sustain the baby until your Dr.'s appt the next day.

thank goodness. I dont know how it happened but the doctor heart a heartbeat on friday. I was fasting and so prepared to have to have a dnc i almost cried at the office. then i got to go on my family trip to florida with a big weight off my shoulder.
