New Jobs and TTC
In theory, you shouldn't plan things around work, but how long would you wait after beginning a job (...a great job) before you start TTC?

Re: New Jobs and TTC
We waited 3 months after I started my new job. Got pg after being there for 6 months. I will be there for a year and 2 months when I have the baby.

Re: New Jobs and TTC
I would want to be working there at least 1 year before the baby is born wait at least 3-4 months before TTC. (the baby could come early and ruin that plan though)

Re: New Jobs and TTC
I would wait 4+ months to ensure FMLA benefits (assuming your company would qualify for FMLA)

Re: New Jobs and TTC
I'd wait 4+ months for FMLA but honestly, I'd wait about a year for my own professional reasons. I wouldn't want to be pregnant and have to go out on leave so quickly but you know better than I do what's appropriate for your industry.

Re: New Jobs and TTC
Try to wait 3-4 months so you can get maternity benefits when you have the baby. Unless you work for a company of 50 employees of smaller, then you might not get good beneifts at all and then it wouldn't matter either way.

Re: New Jobs and TTC
We waited 6 months after starting a new job. I wanted to make sure I was entitled to FMLA.
