carpet update

Just got a quote of $3950 to redo carpet in our co-op! And the attorney says that we won't be able to get any money for the rugs from their escrow even though they were filthy and we didn't see the filth because it was under their furniture.... oy.

How big is your co-op?
We picked top of the line, 5 star carpet and did a LOT - LR/DR, hallway, two bedrooms and our monster size great room for just a bit more than that.

Someting just happened to us....we got empire carpet to come and give us a quote to do the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms....they quoted us $1900....we set up an appointment and then had a change of heart so we called to cancel...to keep us they cut the price in half to $900....might want to try with them.

Check our Flor carpet tiles. After searching for an area rug for months, DH and I decided to design our own carpet using Flor carpet tiles. Flor is an eco-friendly company and the tiles come in various colors, textures and patterns. You can order samples and lay down your own wall to wall. We just got our samples yeaterday and I love it! Home Depot is having a great special right now- $99 for the whole installation, regardless of size.
If you go to a store- it's $7 off the p/yd price.
