Update to my carpet beetle issue
The exterminator came today...thankfully my mom went to my house to wait for him since I'm working...and yes...that's what it was. I put one in an envelope and left it out so he could first see what I had. Good news is he found NONE in the house and said I caught it in time. Said they have gotten tons of calls this week in my area. And yes...one of my neighbors had them and bingo, that's all it takes. Mind you, I vac the house ALL the time; please don't think we're dirty peeps! I was filled with horror to even find it, which happened by accident because I was inspecting the stairs to be sure that DH didn't go up the stairs with his shoes on (white carpet) and THAT's how I saw the little bugger. Finally, I can sleep tonight!

they had this on the news this morning that a lot of LI people have been having these and another one also. Glad they are gone. I showered and vacuumed as soon as the news was over.

FYI, they are tiny--half the size of a ladybug and black...with tan stripes on their back.
*shivers*

NO! Thank God--I found about 8 total just in the house....a few on the carpet, a few near the window on the floor in the kitchen. I must have gotten them all b/c the guy didn't see any but he sprayed anyway!
