Problem...re: Anniversary present (POLL)
Ok here is my dilemma....
I have the perfect present for DH for our anniversary (Oct 23) it's "paper" and everything. The thing is I just called the place and they said it's a two week turn around for this present. They can't guarantee it by Oct 23. Now, do I still order it and hope it comes early, give it to him late or find something else to give to him?

order it now and if it's not there in time for the anniversary, print out the description of it and put that in his card, so he knows what he's getting

I would give it to him late, but buy a small gift to give on the day of your anniversary.

could you put a picture of the gift in a box and wrap that up? Then, at least he gets something to open on the actual anniversary

Men only want 1 thing for their anniversary anyway
when it comes in a little late, it will be like extending your anniversary.

I agree with the other posts, if it's perfect...give it to him late. But, definitely print or take a pic of the item you will be giving him and give it to him on your anniversary.

Wear a papergown (think the ones from your ob/gyn) and give him a picture of the gift...

I agree with this! And I would love it if you could FM me the idea-
I would but sometimes DH reads my mail but I'll definitly let you know what it is at the end of the month if I end up going with the idea.
