boo PC Richards
PC Richards just woke us up. We were their first stop. No one called yesterday to give us a more narrow window. We were told between 2 and 4. So now we have to call an 800 # and set up for tomorrow. He wouldn't put us on his route later or at the end. We're at our old place and couldn't be at the new place in 5 min when the delivery arrived. Man.... I wanted the appliances today :(

they did the same thing to us!
I would call a manager and demand your appliances at the time you were told.
they ended up sending out another truck for us.

I would definitely call and speak with a manager and tell them you were scheduled for 2-4 and that someone would have been there at that time and that to come at 7am or whatever is not sufficient as no one is currently living at the house and they need to deliver at the agreed upon time. I would request that they bring it back at the agreed upon time today.

I can't stand PC Richards. They no little about customer support and are very old fashion about everything they do. I predict this store will go out of business very soon.
I would request a reduction on the cost due to the inconvenience.

I agree with the others - call the store, speak with the manager and demand that they deliver during the time they specified to you when you bought the appliance.

If it works for you great. I just don't see how they can stay in business much longer. Their practices are outdated. They're one of the last of the old school stores so maybe that does say something.

I actually love PC Richards and am surprised you had a problem. They have always been very accomodating to us. We buy all our big ticket items there, hopefully they stay in business.

just out of curiosity what do you mean by "outdated practices" and "old school store?"
PC richard has all the same merchandise, sales, and offers as the other places, and because they are family owned they really stand behind their products, and you can bargain with them.

yea, i'm with lauren, i totally bargain with them. i've never had a problem with PC Richards but definitely have had a problem with other companies and deliveries. i always complain to their customer service depts and usually end up getting a discount or something free. good luck! hope it works out for you.
