What happens if you don't ovulate?
Do you still get your period that cycle? (I know its not "technically" a period...but just bleeding).
Oh, will u go back to ovulating the following cycle?
I am on CD22 with no ovulation in sight! I've never O'd later than CD18 and I have never had longer than a 34 day cycle - and that was only once! Usually I am 30 - 32 days.

Yes, you would still bleed. The uterine lining still has to be shed.

Re: What happens if you don't ovulate?
Hope this helps..
Can I have a period and still not have ovulated?
Having a period does not necessarily mean that ovulation has taken place. Some women may have what is called an anovulatory cycle, (meaning no ovulation) and can experience some bleeding which is mistaken for a period, but it is actually not a true period. This bleeding is caused by either a buildup in the uterine lining that can no longer sustain itself or by an estrogen level drop. The main way to decipher if ovulation is in fact taking place is by tracking the body temperature.

Thanks! One more Q - would the start of the bleeding follow your usual cycle (like, will I start bleeding on CD31 if that is how long my cycles usually are when I ovulate?)

Unfortunately, I haven't done temping and charting...so I don't know if my temps are low...
I also O usually on CD 15 - 18....today is CD23, and I am really hoping for a surge today!!
I can't think of anything that might have thrown it off - except that I started going to the gym again this month, after a month off.

I could definitely see the gym throwing it off. i tend to think anything that might add a little stress on the body could throw it off.
