Peapod rant...
It has been busy here with DH working late and all weekend and since I am on bedrest we didn't get any shopping done so we ordered from peapod - we have had minor issues with getting expired goods or things that expire the day after delivery before but we needed to do it this one time so that I can have lunch/breakfast/dinner in the house since I can't go myself.
They just showed up with was 4 bottles of water and NONE of the rest of the 20 something things we ordered. The delivery guy was like oh yeah I don't have anything else you can call them and have them reschedule for day later in the week but we don't have anything else on your list. So you should refuse the order and call them to reschedule or cancel it.

I couldnt stand them, I would get rotten meat and produce!! what about waldbaums I think they do delivery, good luck.

Are they kidding? That makes no sense at all, why make the delivery with nothing but one item ordered. That's even more frutrating than the kid at Stop & Shop yesterday that found it appropriate to put the watermelon on TOP of my eggs.

OMG! That is terrible that the guy would even say that to you!
I would totally call and complain! When I have a problem, they refund it right away - sounds like you are entitled to more than a refund!

That was my main complaint with them - the amount of goods out of stock. I never received an order like that though  They couldn't call you first??

Wow, I am surprised! That seems so ridiculous to deliver just one item. I always have such good luck with them, always very fresh, large produce. Never a complaint, I am surprised.

I'm surprised. I only ordered a few times but thought they were fantastic. The fruit was fresher than what is in the stores.
Email them your complaint to see what they can do for you.

DH called them last night and they simply said if you refuse the order they refund your money otherwise we can arrange another delivery day those are your options what are you doing? No we are sorry - nothing they guy even asked why we didn't accept the water??????????????
I just feel bad b.c DH has been working late maybe I will try Walbaums for a delivery just this once.

I'm sorry - that's horrible!
I have Waldbaum's deliver - never had an issue! They will substitute for something they are out of unless you select the "no substitutions" option. If they are confused or unsure about a sub, they will call you to ask.
I always get fresh products -- and they always select good meat and produce. Try them!

I'm surprised also, we use them a lot lately. I have not had a problem with them at all. We've ordered everything from meat to dairy to produce - everything is always fresh.

Wow, Im surprised, I use them all the time and only once they didnt have 2 of my items. I have used Waldbaums, and they ruined my cold cuts, so I cant use them. I would def call Peapod and say something, they should have at least given you a phone call in advance.

We decided to do the in store pick up with walbaums since DH drives by it on the way home this way he just runs in and leaves
